I do not know if my online research was terrible, but honestly this was my favorite consultation so far. It felt genuinely ethical and professional. It was a little disappointing that they did not take a CT scan, but the staff were very kind and the doctor was very cheerful. They occasionally made jokes, and the consultation atmosphere was comfortable. Other places make you write that recording is absolutely prohibited, but here they said, “When would you write all that down? Record it,” which surprised me. At first the doctor joked during the consultation, then examined my nose a few times, had me sit sideways and diagonally, and looked closely. They began by saying my nose is difficult to operate on, the kind often seen for revision surgery, asked about my needs, and recommended what would suit my facial harmony. They also immediately showed me before-and-after images in Photoshop. Because I have a bulbous, upturned, short, low nose, they told me what surgery could do now, said plainly that what is impossible is impossible, and explained why. Even though they recommended not having surgery, they spent a long time consulting me… I ultimately decided not to get rhinoplasty, but if I ever do, I think I will definitely do it here.
