When I first went up to the clinic, I was flustered because there was no elevator, and the inside of the clinic also felt like a family medicine clinic. It had that “Can surgery really be done here?” kind of feel.. They operate on one person per day, and they said they would slightly raise my nasal tip first, then trim and place silicone to match it. They said the silicone height and nose shape would be made naturally to suit the nasal tip. For the nasal tip, they said they try to use septal cartilage rather than ear cartilage whenever possible. They showed me postoperative review photos, and I could feel that they pursue a natural look. They also asked if I usually had trouble breathing or had rhinitis, and said that since I was getting nose surgery anyway, they would widen the airway inside my nose without any additional charge. (I usually didn’t have major discomfort breathing through my nose.) The director even told me the price, and said that if I had more questions, I could come again for another consultation. When I went, there was a patient recovering after rhinoplasty, one more consultation patient after me, and also a patient getting Botox. The director’s consultation was honest, they pursue a natural look, and unlike factory-style clinics it is a one-doctor plastic surgery clinic, so I liked that they do one person per day. It is an older place, so for Daejeon there were a few cosmetic surgery reviews on cafes or online. The director showed me surgical review photos, and I could feel that they pursue a natural line that is not excessive.

They said the director had specialized in noses in Seoul. The clinic had not been open in Daejeon for very long, so there were really no reviews online. I heard they were famous for revision rhinoplasty, so I thought they must be good at first-time rhinoplasty too and went there. Since the clinic was new, the interior was clean and nice, and I was tempted because they took 3D photos and showed me before-and-after comparisons. Somehow it felt like the surgery would come out exactly like the 3D image.. They assessed my overall face, and said that because my forehead is low, my nose should not be too high, and that it needed to be done naturally for the line from the forehead to look natural. When I said I also wanted epicanthoplasty, they said the shapes of my two eyes are different, so it would be enough to open them just slightly while matching both sides. I was satisfied with the consultation. I discussed the price with the consultant, but they did not show me before-and-after photos, and I also forgot to ask to see them. Overall the clinic was clean, and after seeing the 3D photos my mind leaned a lot toward this place, but I was bothered by the fact that I hadn’t seen other people’s reviews and that there wasn’t a single other customer while I was receiving my consultation. The clinic was really too quiet..
