I went back and forth dozens of times a day between donated rib cartilage and autologous costal cartilage, and I made up my mind to use donated rib cartilage. First of all, among people I know, there was someone whose surgery turned out well with donated rib cartilage, so that kind of won me over. It was hard for me to decide because I thought if rib cartilage was used, the nasal tip would be hard and artificial, but that wasn’t the case. The nasal tip came out rounded and pretty.
Both ㅁㅇㄷ and ㅇㄴㅂ are such nose experts, and they were both full of confidence, so it was really hard to decide. Still, looking at the surgery review photos, it seemed like ㅇㄴㅂ was closer to the line I wanted, so I scheduled the surgery date. There’s still a lot of time left, but the surgery will go well, right? I hope there isn’t much swelling....
