For my first surgery, I had silicone + ear cartilage. From the beginning, I felt like the silicone was a bit crooked, but back then I didn’t really know anything, and I liked the feeling that my nose had gotten higher, so I just lived with it. Now it’s been about 7 to 8 years, and as time passed, I lost facial fat and my features became more defined. Other people would have to look closely to notice, but I can see it so clearly. That kind of crooked nose..? The silicone being shifted to the left..? Things like that are really visible now.
So I’ve been looking into revision surgery, and while consulting, I was told that my nose shape is a bit long and different from the current trend, so they recommended raising the nasal tip a bit more. They said the crooked and shifted silicone would be replaced.
But maybe because it’s a revision surgery, almost every clinic recommended rib cartilage for the tip ㅜㅜ except two places!
I don’t want to use rib cartilage, so I want to solve it with ear cartilage or septal cartilage.. Are they recommending rib cartilage because it’s revision surgery? I’m worried I’ll regret it, so maybe because it’s revision surgery, I’m being extremely cautiousㅠㅠ Honestly, I wasn’t that interested in the nose shape, and I went for consultations to correct the crookedness, but then they said my nose was long, so I suddenly became interested. Since they’re opening the nose anyway, I’m thinking of making the shape a bit prettier too, shortening the nose and raising the tip moreㅠㅠ (To be honest, if only my nasal bridge weren’t crooked, I probably would have just lived without revision surgery.)
People around me say it only looks crooked if someone is really staring closely just at my nose, so I should just live with it, but I.. keep worrying about it, so I want to do itㅠㅠ And when the clinic said my nose is long so it makes the facial fat look more prominent, I wondered if that was true too.. For now, the clinic that said they would operate using ear cartilage and septal cartilage gave such a good consultation, the director was really good, has good experience, and the overall reviews are good, so I’m thinking of booking there, but I keep wondering whether I should use rib cartilageㅠㅠ
Does it really have to be autologous costal cartilage..ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
