In early February, I had lateral canthoplasty and upper canthoplasty. At first, after sedation anesthesia and then local anesthesia, once I woke up, I was fully conscious during the surgery from then on. The local anesthesia wore off here and there during the procedure, so they injected anesthesia several times during surgery.. Still, maybe because it was local anesthesia, I liked that I didn’t have to worry about things like a substitute surgeon. At first, I couldn’t go outside because of conjunctival edema, bruising, and swelling. My eyes hurt even when I stayed still, and when the heater was on, my eyes got so dry that I kept putting in artificial tears. But after the second set of stitches was removed, the swelling and conjunctival edema went down well. There is still a little wound under the eye and some conjunctival edema left, but makeup covers it all. My eyes look bigger and my impression looks softer, so I’m very satisfied. I think I’ll be even more satisfied as I recover more!
