Since it was my first surgery, I wanted to be careful, so I narrowed down clinics by researching online first, then booked consultations mainly at places that looked natural and had reviews I liked. The line I wanted was an in-out line, and for the surgical method I was thinking of natural adhesion or partial incision when I went for consultations. Full incision felt a little burdensome since it was my first surgery... ㅠ I visited three clinics around Sinsa Station, and I’ll write the review right away!
1. ㄴㅅㅎ - ㄱㅈㅎ I liked the reviews, so I specifically booked a consultation with Director ㄱㅈㅎ. The consultation went manager > director > manager, and maybe because I went in the morning, I was seen right away with no wait. With the manager, I talked about the procedures I wanted, the procedures I didn’t want, and the date I wanted surgery. She explained how the surgery would proceed, explained things well, and was very kind. The director said my eyelid skin is thick and stretched, so natural adhesion would have a high chance of coming undone, and recommended incision or partial incision. For canthoplasty, he said just an epicanthoplasty would probably be good so the line shows well, and since my eye-opening strength wasn’t bad, I didn’t need ptosis correction separately. I felt like he was recommending only what was really needed. The director was also kind, carefully drew the line several times, and answered all my questions even though I tend to worry a lot and had many questions! They have CCTV, and during surgery it’s possible to briefly show the guardian about 2 times. 2. ㄱㅎㅅ This place is famous for revision eye surgery, and I wasn’t planning to have surgery here, but I heard the director points out only the necessary procedures well, so I wanted to get a consultation. Maybe because of that, this was the only place where I had to pay a 5,000 won consultation fee. I went at my reservation time, but there was a procedure before me, so I waited about 20 minutes. After waiting, I went straight into the director’s room, put on a headband, and had the consultation. Here too, they recommended incision rather than non-incision, and told me to do incisional ptosis correction. But I hadn’t been thinking about ptosis correction, so I was a little flustered ㅎㅎ... I also asked about canthoplasty, and they said there was no space for posterior/lower canthoplasty and it wouldn’t have any effect even if done, so they only recommended epicanthoplasty. Then he asked if I knew my eyes were asymmetrical. I hadn’t thought of it at all, but the director explained in detail while pointing out the positions of my cheekbones, outer eye corners, and orbital bones, and only then did I realize my eyes were asymmetrical. After hearing the director and looking in the mirror, I could see it ㅎ Among the three clinics, this one gave the most professional explanation about my eyes. In the reviews, someone who went here said they were recommended nose surgery, and I was also recommended nose surgery the same way. It seems like they also explain additional procedures that may be needed for the face. After the director consultation, I consulted with the manager, but it felt like they mainly operate on people in their 30s and above rather than people in their 20s, so I didn’t ask about the price separately and left.
3. ㅈㅇㅈㅇ - ㄱㅂㅇ This place also had good reviews and was said to do natural-looking results well, so I booked a consultation. It was also the only one among the three with a female director, so I went in with expectations, but while waiting, I heard a conversation between the desk staff and a guardian, and that made me lose some interest in having surgery here. The consultation went manager > director > manager, but the manager’s tone unintentionally sounded like she was putting me down, so I felt a bit bad. I stayed in that mood and went in to consult with the director, and the director was incredibly kind... At first, the director recommended incision, but said natural adhesion might also be possible. However, she said there was a high chance it could come undone... She said adding an upper canthoplasty would be good, and ptosis correction wasn’t necessary. The line she drew was my favorite among all of them. The director was so kind and I liked the line, so I paid a same-day deposit before leaving, but in reviews I saw there was supposedly a same-day booking discount. When I asked, they said there wasn’t one... Is it different by manager? I liked both clinics 1 and 3, so I paid deposits at both, but clinic 3 has no aftercare, natural adhesion has a high chance of coming undone, and the A/S period is short, so after thinking about it, I ultimately decided to do it at clinic 1 ㅠㅠ My surgery is next Monday and I’m so nervous!
