First of all, my eyes have a high line, so they look sausage-like, and the fixation is strong, with visible scarring.. The eyes I want are an inline double eyelid while the scars become lighter, and absolutely natural-looking << super important. Anyway, because of that, I looked for clinics mainly with that in mind and went for consultations.
1. ㄱㄴ - For lowering the line, they would proceed with the two-line technique. I currently have an ambiguous amount of extra skin, so they said they can check the extra skin during surgery and excise it if possible, and they said they would go in the direction of excision + fat repositioning - Since my fixation is very strong and the scars are clearly visible, even if they release the adhesions, the scars may remain faintly, but they said if they excise them, the scars would disappear. - They said the distance between my eyes and eyebrows is on the close side, but it would not get any closer. - AS for 2 years - After stitch removal, swelling laser, and consultations at 1, 3, and 6 months. - They drew the line for me, but it was not the line I wanted (they said inline is not possible and I should do in-out) - They said a possible side effect is multiple creases. But they said it probably would not happen in the front, and if it did, it would likely form on the back part of the line
>> Both the consultant and the director were kind. But it was my first consultation, so I came out without asking much ㅜㅜ Also, they only drew the line once on one side, so that was a bit disappointing. Including waiting time and consultation time, it took about 1 hour and 20 minutes?
2. ㄸㅋ - Took photos before the consultation - For lowering the line, they would proceed with the two-line technique. They said they might slightly excise the deeper scarred areas + fat repositioning - Both inline and in-out are possible, but they said in-out would look more natural and prettier (they actually drew the line very carefully and in detail, and I liked the in-out line better too! They said if it is lowered too much, it can actually make the eyes look too intense) - AS for 1 year - After stitch removal, swelling laser, and consultations with the director at 1, 3, 6, and 12 months - If there is scar tissue, scar-tissue injections
>> I really really really really liked that the consultant was so kind.. The director was kind too, but I still had things to ask and they kept trying to wrap it up, so I was sad… They said my previous double-eyelid fixation was severe, so the surgery would be a somewhat difficult case.. Also, they told me that because my eyelashes are already a bit lifted, it may still be like that after surgery. Including waiting and consultation time, it took about 1 hour!
3. ㅇㅋ - They would proceed with lowering the line using the two-line technique. They said they would not excise + fat repositioning - Recommended in-out. They also drew the line carefully - They explained everything very professionally and thoroughly, starting from what kind of surgery the two-line technique is, why fat repositioning is done, and so on - AS for 1 year - After stitch removal, swelling injection, and there are no separate follow-up consultations afterward, but consultations are possible whenever I want - When I said I was worried about scarring, they said it may remain faintly, but they would make it as natural as possible (they said since they will not excise, it will actually be flatter and less noticeable)
>> Both the consultant and the director were calm and kind! I especially liked that the director explained things very professionally. Also, this was the first place that told me things like how many mm my original double eyelid is and how much it would be reduced, so it was easy to understand. They said that if it is reduced too much, the original double-eyelid scar could be exposed! I think it took about 40 minutes including waiting and consultation!
For now, I got consultations at these three places, and all three recommended in-out,,, I am a bit anxious because I am a case where in-out failed before, but when I look at the lines they drew and the reviews they showed me, it does not seem bad, so I said okay for now! I still have other consultations left, so I am going to decide after getting those too~~ I hope my review helps everyone!
