My first double-eyelid surgery was done at Nana at a promotional price. It was a simple natural-adhesion double-eyelid surgery, so it cost about 900,000 won. The inner corners of both eyes were not exactly the same, but the thickness and balance between the two sides were fairly good, and I lived satisfied with it for about 5 years. Then one side loosened, and only overlapping creases formed.
The second surgery was done at Unique. Since it was my second time and what I wanted most was to never have surgery again, my goal was absolutely for it not to loosen. I had ptosis correction + incisional double-eyelid surgery, but this turned out so badly. In the second month, a stitch came out of my eye, and in the third month it came out once more. I also had a severe foreign-body sensation for 6 months, and the thickness, shape, and feeling when opening my eyes were all so different between the two sides that I was very stressed about having uneven eyes. But even that started to loosen after 6 months, and as my eye became 2 lines and 3 lines, it just looked wrinkled and the shape became so strange that I wondered if it could even be called a double eyelid. After tremendous stress, I have now booked a third surgery.
Pleeeease ㅠㅠ I hope I can go several decades without surgery until I get a lift when I’m older. I’m planning to take the plunge and have it done by a director famous for revision surgery, but my eyelids are thin and I have many overlapping crease lines. I also need both incision + ptosis correction, so the cost is high, and I’m very worried the same problem will happen again. Has anyone had a case similar to mine?
