Rather than a director who forces you with “this is the only way it works,” or one who says “this and that, everything can be done,” you need to meet a director who listens carefully to each of the patient’s needs and clearly understands what is and isn’t possible. That seems to raise the chance of a successful surgery. This is something I felt by comparing my first surgery clinic with my revision surgery clinic.
At my first surgery, the director was the type who said everything I wanted could be done, but when the result I wanted didn’t come out and I brought it up, they said they had already done as much as they could and that my nose condition wasn’t good enough to support it. Then they should have told me that during the first consultation, right? So annoying.....
Anyway, based on what I looked into, my conclusion was: there is 99% no nose in this world that can do everything... Please keep that in mind and I hope everyone succeeds with their first surgery!!!!!
