In December of the year before last, I had non-implant functional rhinoplasty using autologous cartilage at ㅇㅅㅇㄷ hospital located near Gyodae Station.
Functionally, it was surgery for septal deviation + sinusitis, and cosmetically, the surgical plan was to use only autologous cartilage: slightly raise the nasal tip with septal cartilage and fill the glabella area with crushed septal cartilage.
The conclusion is that after surgery, an irregular contour formed on my nasal dorsum… It kind of became like a witch nose?
I was so worried that I went for a consultation when it had been 3 weeks. The doctor said that it looked like there was an irregular contour even to him and admitted something was wrong, but he casually said I could fill the sunken part with filler???? or have revision surgery.
In my common sense, I can’t understand casually recommending filler for a nose that has already been operated on, and I wanted to know exactly why this kind of irregular contour formed on my nose, so I visited the hospital again not long after.
But what I heard back was,
“It’s a problem that can be fixed with revision surgery. Stop saying the same thing, it’s meaningless.”
“Can’t you see there are many clients waiting outside? Please leave now,” and things like that.
I only heard hurtful words, and the consultation ended as if I was being chased out. In the end, I still never heard the reason why the irregular contour formed.
I only calmly consulted about my situation, but receiving this kind of treatment made me so sad that I cried for a long time in the waiting room before leaving…
It was my first cosmetic surgery, and getting this result makes me feel like the sky is falling. Even now, almost three months later, there is still a clear irregular contourㅠㅠ
Every day I can only worry about the shape of my nose, and even now it’s so hard to meet people.
What could be the reason an irregular contour formed on the nasal dorsum?
