The director was kind, and unlike other places that all do open rhinoplasty, they said they would only do closed rhinoplasty here. They said closed rhinoplasty has to be done by someone who is really good at it, and that I don’t need to worry because they’re good at surgery, so I felt somewhat reassured, but on the other hand I’m worried that if I do a closed procedure, I won’t get the nose shape I want. It’s nice that there won’t be a scar on the columella, and they said if you use ear cartilage it can bend, so they would raise the tip of the nose only with septal cartilage. It feels like a new surgical method, different from other hospitals...
