I was glad that the doctor only consulted me about exactly the surgery I wanted. They seemed like a very meticulous person. But they also felt a little passive. After that, while I was talking with the consultation manager, they said it would be better to redo the whole surgery, which caught me off guard. It felt a bit burdensome.
