But I was scared to completely change my nose and only wanted a natural change, so while researching I found a clinic called Unimedi, made an appointment, and went for a consultation. The first consultation was with the manager and took about 30 to 40 minutes. She explained everything kindly and well, and amazingly, she figured out exactly what I wanted. Then I had a second, short consultation with the director, and because my house is far away, I decided to have the surgery that day. Besides nostril reduction, I had two more procedures. The anesthesia was local, and while everything else was fine, the anesthesia part hurt the most The surgery took about 30 minutes, and when I came out and looked in the mirror, of course there was swelling because I had surgery, but even the stitches were transparent and it really didn’t show much. For a week I diligently applied ointment, and the only inconvenience was that if I laughed too big, it pulled a lot, and because my job requires me to lower my head a lot, I had a little bruising? Other than that, there weren’t any big problems. Then a week later I had the stitches removed, and now I’m approaching week 2. I don’t know if it’s just my imagination, but every time I look in the mirror it seems like the swelling is going down a little and changing, so for now I’m satisfied!
