I had double eyelid surgery in the summer of 2012, and I'm leaving a review after 11 years. I had ptosis correction + natural adhesion buried suture double eyelid surgery. Within less than 3 years after the surgery, the double eyelid would appear and disappear depending on how I felt, and on the day it became 5 years old, it completely came undone, and now I live with no visible double eyelid line at all. It seems the ptosis correction also came undone, because the ptosis got severe again. Even though my eyes had every condition that would make double eyelid surgery go extremely well - they were very wide horizontally, and were eyes that should have been easy to operate on and should have had a good result - the surgery was done so poorly that I was extremely dissatisfied aesthetically, and even that result didn't last long. It was done far uglier than on people with much less attractive eyes who had surgery for much less money than I did. The consultation with the surgeon was also very unfriendly, and during the sleep anesthesia I even got the feeling that a nurse was doing surrogate surgery instead of the doctor. The doctor was supposed to stay by me the entire time during the double eyelid surgery, but kept disappearing somewhere. At the time I just let it go, but later when surrogate surgery was in the news, I started to suspect whether what I went through was shadow doctor or surrogate surgery. Even though nose and chin surgery are much harder and double eyelid surgery is the easiest of all cosmetic surgeries, and even though my eyes were the best possible candidate for cosmetic surgery on my face, the nose and chin I had done elsewhere turned out relatively satisfactory, while only the double eyelid surgery I had here failed. I have a lot of fat in my eyelids too, so I don't know why they did buried suture instead of incision. It feels like they saw me only as money, not as a patient, and just did the surgery carelessly, which makes me very unhappy.
