Because of facial asymmetry, I was going to have jaw surgery at first, but I changed to facial contouring because it seemed like too big an operation. So they couldn’t correct the asymmetry, but my broad face became a little less broad after the cheekbone reduction, and my angular chin also became softer. I was slightly recessed chin, so I put an implant in the chin tip, but as a result my face seems a bit longer. They inserted the chin implant through an intraoral incision, and it took a long time for the sensation in my mouth to come back; even now only 80-90% has returned. My face does look better than before surgery, but it wasn’t a dramatically big change. I still regret, over and over, that they didn’t correct the asymmetry.
