I had to wait a really long time for the consultation. It felt less like a one-hour consultation and more like I was just being lectured. If I asked questions, they reacted as if I didn't trust them... I was wrong to think, "This much is probably okay. I came all this way after waiting so long, so I should be able to ask one or two things I want to ask." Honestly, it would be better for both patients and the doctor, in terms of time and mental strain, to make a surgery plan like a pamphlet and hand it out, and only have people who are actually going to have surgery visit. When I read consultation reviews, I saw posts saying it gave them trauma, and I thought that might be exaggerated. But I really spent a long time thinking about it before sleeping every night, and it was a hard period for me. I liked the plastic surgery review photos, but the consultation didn't go well in terms of Q&A, so I couldn't decide on surgery. They drew the expected nose shape after revision surgery, but even that didn't give me the feeling of "this is it," so in the end I didn't go through with the surgery.
