Patient review of Teuraendeu (트랜드) · 2021-04-02

I was looking for a simple cosmetic surgery, and after searching around, I called around November 2020 to book a consultation.. then in April 2021, boom.. They told me to call if there was an opening, so I visited in January. After reading the reviews and figuring out the director's style, I did some heart massage in advance and went in. The wait was about 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes. I was nervous, but the director was much gentler than I expected.. very soft-spoken.. They took photos, stuck a finger into my nostril and took more photos.. (to estimate how much to raise it) They printed the photos, had me draw the nose I wanted, then looked at the drawing, pointed out the problems with my nose, and modified the simulated rhinoplasty photo with me. After editing the photo, they seemed very proud, saying there aren't many people who can make it exactly like this. Then they looked inside my nostrils and said my septum was extremely deviated, and asked if I'd ever had a nasal endoscopy, or if I'd ever injured my nose when I was young (I hadn't), saying it looked like it would tear just from being touched.. and told me to go get surgery for the deviated septum first. (It could also be done here, but insurance wouldn't cover it, so they said to get the surgery from an ENT clinic and come back.) They said they would do the surgery later after seeing whether the mucous membrane heals. (Usually after about 6 months, sooner if it heals faster, later if it takes longer.) After I came out, I talked with the consultation manager, and they said the director also does alar reduction separately. I went there to get a pretty nose surgery, but an unexpected functional problem was discovered and I was shocked.. The very next day I went straight to an ENT clinic, and they said it wasn't just the deviated septum but that I also had severe sinusitis..;;;;;; Postnasal drip, constant right-sided nasal obstruction, headaches, runny nose triggered by temperature changes, and more.. I had lived like this since I was a kid, got colds often, and just thought everyone was like this.. but that wasn't the case. I had a CT, a whole bunch of tests.. and in the end I had surgery at a university hospital in early March.. After the surgery, the professor said my septum was much thinner than average. (When someone who does this surgery all the time says it's thin, it's really thin! They warned that my septum would tear easily, discouraged me from having cosmetic surgery, and said if I really wanted it, I should find a director who handles things very delicately.) I'm still in a bit of a mental daze and my desire for cosmetic surgery has faded for now.. But thanks to this, I learned about all sorts of issues, so I'm grateful.
