Had revision rhinoplasty with autologous costal cartilage and fat grafting

Before<Before>After<After>Before<Before>After<After>I had revision rhinoplasty using autologous costal cartilage, and additionally got fat grafting to my forehead, anterior cheeks, and chin tip. Maybe because I emphasized wanting a natural look too much during my first rhinoplasty it was barely noticeable, and in the past I still thought it was okay enough, but from there my nasal tip felt like it got even shorter and droopier, so it seemed like my nose had become one that people wouldn’t believe was operated on even if I said it was I had heard before that nasal tip cartilage can be absorbed, and I think that happened to me too.. so my nasal tip seems to have become lower. So if I got revision rhinoplasty, I really wanted to do it with a method that would minimize absorption as much as possible and keep the nasal tip well maintained. Honestly, autologous costal cartilage was scary and felt like a lot to take on,,, but in the end I decided on rhinoplasty with autologous costal cartilage, and since I was also scared of general anesthesia, I looked for a place where I could have it done under sedation anesthesia. Even if it ended up feeling a bit too much early on after the revision, I wanted a natural-yet-glamorous look, so during the consultation I asked the director specifically for the height I wanted, referring to photos and even drawings, and since my skin is on the stretchier side, I think I was able to get the height I wanted. Also, my forehead looked too flat compared with how much I wanted to raise my nose, so I decided it would be good to naturally add a little volume to the forehead, chin tip, and anterior cheek areas, so I also had partial fat grafting done together. Actually, I don’t think people pursue such an overdone look with fat grafting these days.. but I had heard that it’s still hard to find a place that does it naturally, and I think I got a smoother, more natural amount of volume than I expected, just about what I wanted. I feel lucky that I met a director who was genuinely kind and meticulous from the beginning and stayed that way throughout. And I was so scared that the pain after autologous costal cartilage would be severe, but from two days later it became manageable, so I’m really relieved and grateful that recovery is going well too..
