Choosing a hospital was really difficult, but first I did online research by looking at review photos, and then went to consultations at a total of 5 places. I chose based on whether the director did the fitting well, whether aftercare was well organized (A/S, regular checkups for more than 1 year), whether they did not recommend Motiva no matter what, and whether appointment management was good.
For size, I had decided on 240/270 during the consultation, but I felt it might be a little lacking, so on the day of surgery I asked if 270/295 would be possible. They said it was possible, so I made that the final decision and proceeded!
On the day of surgery, I wasn’t even nervous and was just excited thinking my breasts would get bigger.. I arrived at 2:30, surgery started at 3:30, I returned to the recovery room at 5:30, and was discharged at 7:30. Right after surgery, when I was moved to the recovery room, it hurt the most, but after the pain-control injection started, as long as I was careful using my arms, there was almost no pain!
I had surgery on Saturday, rested only on Sunday, and went straight back to work on Monday. Since I have an office job it wasn’t too much of a strain, but as the swelling went down into my abdomen, my whole body felt heavy and tight, so I did think it would be better to rest for two days.. From day 3, itching started, and because my whole breasts were taped due to the inverted nipple correction, it was so itchy that it was hard Around days 4-5, sensation gradually started coming back, and I also had intermittent throbbing and tingling pain.
On day 6, I went for my 1-week follow-up, and the director removed the tape and also removed the stitches from my nipples. I returned all the upper bands of the compression bra, received a Dorothy Wa bra, and also got Caps before leaving!
That day was my first time seeing my breasts too, and I think they turned out nicely, without looking as overwhelming or unnatural as I expected They still feel very tight to the touch, so I hope they soften up soon! People around me also say it turned out well, so I’m very satisfied
