I’m 2 months post-op after nasal reconstruction surgery at RU Plastic Surgery!! After having all of my nasal implants removed at another hospital due to inflammation, the shape of my nose became so severely deformed that it was hard to go about daily life. While looking for reviews related to extreme nasal reconstruction/contracted nose revision surgery, I found out about RU Plastic Surgery! After hearing Director Kim Hyun-joo’s surgical process and consultation, I came to trust her and decided to undergo contracted nose surgery! Before surgery, I had stem cell treatment about 8 times, and the surgery corrected my contracted nose using entirely autologous costal cartilage and scalp fascia. Now that it has been over two months, the swelling has gone down a lot even at a glance, and my nose line has become slimmer, so I’m able to go out confidently! The bruising on the nasal tip was severe, but it gradually faded, and now even the remaining slight bruising is barely visible. The scar on the nasal tip can also be covered to some extent with makeup! For the scar tissue inside my nose, I need to wear a retainer, so I’m going to work hard to manage it Thank you so much, Director Kim Hyun-joo!!
