Nose Surgery Reviews

My revision rhinoplasty was totally botched

This time, I had my 5th revision rhinoplasty. My nose before the revision was fine too, but I wanted it to be a bit higher and more defined, so I made the big decision to have revision surgery.. After the revision, the swelling was the worst ever, and somehow I kept instinctively feeling that it was botched… After a week, on the day the splint was removed, as expected, my nose was insanely swollen and the shape was such a mess that I cried as soon as the splint came off. I contacted the hospital and 3 days later had an early revision surgery again with an open approach. Having my nose cut open twice in 10 days was extremely stressful. Still, I had the surgery while praying that if I got an early revision, it would be okay, but the early revision was also totally botched. The auricular cartilage placed in my nasal tip is too pointy and feels like it’s going to pierce through. Seeing my nose keep getting worse with repeated surgeries, now I really want to give up and die.. I want to stop. When I asked the hospital, they said they need to open the nasal tip again with an open approach and lower it.. but I’m scared to have my nose opened 3 times within a month, and are there cases where the nose is opened three times in one month..? Everyone, if your own nose were just about to be pierced through, 1. Wait for now 2. Open the nose for the 3rd time after three weeks; the columella condition is already bad now Even the hospital consultant is trying to stop me, mentioning the Kang Hak-du incident and saying that repeatedly opening the nose is risky, so then is the answer to just leave my nose to rot?
