It has been one month since I had surgery for my bulbous nose and hump nose, which had been a major complex of mine since I was young. While researching, I learned about a plastic surgery clinic. It was a one-doctor clinic, seemed to handle many hump nose cases, and the post-op nose shapes were closest to the look I wanted. During the consultation, Director Kim Da-alm was kind but firm, clearly explaining what was and was not possible, and analyzed my face in great detail, even things I had not known myself. The consultant also explained everything straightforwardly without making me feel pressured. I had consultations at other clinics too, but everything was so lacking compared with this place that I decided to have it done here. I was so nervous during surgery that I woke up from the anesthesia, but I could feel that the director was doing the surgery with great dedication, so I thought, ah, I really made the right choice having surgery here. The day after surgery, once the cotton packing was removed, I made sure to go on walks every day. After the splint was removed a week later, I felt like I could live a bit more comfortably, and now that one month has passed, a lot of the swelling has gone down. Aside from nasal congestion, I hardly feel any discomfort in daily life. I will need to take good care of it for the rest of my life, and my nose still feels a bit upturned, so more time will need to pass, but it came out in the nose shape I wanted, so I am very satisfied!
