2 weeks after surgery,, it's hard to open my mouth~~ How about you?

After learning online that the mouth normally doesn't open well after surgery, I stopped worrying. If there were no sites like this, I would have worried alone and kept calling the hospital one by one to ask. "Wait.. isn't something wrong with my surgery? Why won't my mouth open? I can't even chew food~!" like that.. ^^; But of course there are individual differences, but about how much time needs to pass before the mouth opens wide~? Horizontally, 4 fingers fit, but vertically, only one finger fits. So that means my mouth doesn't open. The hospital said I should be able to open it after about a month... But I saw someone who posted below saying they still can't open it well even after half a year. How is it for other people who had jaw surgery? When should I start practicing opening my mouth? The hospital told me not to try to force my mouth open... I'm not trying hard to force it open anyway. My jaw feels tight... And they said to eat only soft foods for a month, but I have to be able to resist the temptation of so many delicious foods~ I try to put kimchi or whatever into my mouth that won't open and chew hard, but as expected, the muscles under my ears and my jaw feel a bit tight and painful. The area inside my ear near the eardrum hurts a little too... So do I have to wait about a month before I can chew and eat as much as I want without pain? Please give me some information~ Those who are about a month after surgery... How is opening your mouth? What about food? Any other side effects? I think most of my swelling has pretty much gone down. Though I still have the feeling that I'm holding two small candies in both cheeks.
