I had my stitches removed today, and it hurt less than I expected? ^^ I was really worried... I even had a much bigger surgery, but I was worrying over just the stitches... lol And then, maybe as part of the service, they gave me a massage in the massage room. I think I received it for about 50 minutes, and it felt pretty nice. It was my first time getting a proper massage... ^^; Well... they called it a swelling-care massage? Since I had square jaw surgery along with muscle and buccal fat removal, I think getting a massage to help things settle would be good. But from next time, they said I have to pay if I want to get a massage. They said I could get it if I wanted... they would do it at a discounted price of 35,000 won, but I spent a lot of money on this surgery, so it feels burdensome... They did peeling, applied all sorts of massage creams, used a machine too... Anyway, if I only had the money, I’d want to get it a few more times...ㅜ.ㅡ The doctor looked at me today and said the swelling had gone down a lot. But in the evening it really does go down a lot, then when I wake up in the morning I’m all puffy again. It feels like I’m holding two huge candies in both cheeks? And the doctor said it would be good to wear a compression band. They didn’t say I absolutely must wear it, more like it would be good if I did... Does everyone always wear a compression band after surgery? The one sold at the hospital was as much as 80,000 won. It was an imported skin-colored one, but it seems way too expensive. I don’t think I necessarily need to buy it from the hospital, and aren’t all compression bands basically the same? I think I’ll just buy one from an online shopping mall. Please recommend which compression band is good.
