I had surgery with silicone and septal cartilage. One place said complete removal wasn’t possible, but I booked surgery at a place that said complete removal was possible. But after thinking it over carefully and searching around more, I saw quite a few people who, after complete removal and as time passed, gradually lost support, had collapse and cartilage deformation, and eventually prepared for revision surgery. I mean cases where septal cartilage was used, not auricular cartilage It seems like maybe they didn’t really know right after removal, but it happened a few years later, so I’m so worried.
