Hello, I’m 6-7 years post bulbous nose surgery. I lived without any particular problems with ear cartilage for 2-3 years, but after that my rhinitis gradually got worse ㅜㅜ Now, whenever the seasons change, my nose runs nonstop, and it’s painful enough to affect my daily life a lot ㅜㅜ But the result also wasn’t pretty enough for me to tolerate the rhinitis, and my bulbous nose still remains, so I’m debating whether to have nose revision surgery as functional rhinoplasty or just remove the cartilage entirely.

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
