Is the sense of loss really that big if you have everything removed?

Is it that you get so used to a surgically altered nose, and then when it goes back to looking like your natural nose, you can’t handle that sense of loss? Do other people notice it too, to the point where your self-esteem is shattered enough to really interfere with social life? Honestly, this isn’t something that makes you prettier cosmetically, and you do it while accepting that you may look less attractive. But I can’t get a feel for whether that’s mostly because the person themselves is sensitive and feels it strongly, or whether other people really all notice and it becomes a serious problem Everyone here who has had full removal before, please tell me honestly. If it’s just that the person feels it a bit sensitively, I’ll try to overcome it well
