I have allergic chronic rhinitis. The inside of my nose is always swollen, so even slight irritation makes it swell and itch. My skin type also tends to have dermatographism and allergies, and I’ve lived with a nasal implant for 18 years. Somehow, I feel like it’s related to my rhinitis. Even when I wear gold earrings, I get a severe foreign-body inflammatory reaction, so I can’t wear earrings either. Since I’m not a specialist, I can’t be certain about the correlation between the nasal implant and rhinitis, but because I have rhinitis 365 days a year, I wonder if removal is the answer.
