In 2016, I had surgery with silicone, ear cartilage, and cartilage tying, and I had been doing fine, but since around last year, when viewed from the side, my nasal tip feels like it has collapsed and my nose looks upturned. So I’m looking into removal now, but there aren’t any removal hospitals in Daegu. For now, I had consultations at two places. One place said it would be better to remove the silicone through an open approach and lower the nose a bit with septal cartilage, or remove everything entirely, and the removal cost was very expensive. They said lowering the nasal tip with septal cartilage would be charged as revision surgery, but it was almost about the same. The other place said that if I’m going to remove it, I should remove only the silicone and reposition the cartilage…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
