I had surgery on Monday, and I’m going to the hospital 3 days later to have the splint removed. I had the nasal packing removed on Wednesday, but I could breathe through one side and the other side felt blocked, and anyway it was still uncomfortable. Today, I took my medicine, applied the ointment, and was resting well, but I must have had my head lowered for a few minutes, and then my nose started bleeding. I called the hospital right away, and they said that as long as it is not flowing heavily, it could be pooled blood coming out, so not to poke around and just wipe away only what flows out of the nose. But I keep worrying about it. I want to blow my nose properly and feel refreshed Every time I swallow saliva, I feel a gulping sensation, so while trying to eat, breathe, and deal with the blood...
