I had functional nose surgery at the same time as a non-implant rhinoplasty. It has already been 5 months since the surgery.. I had been so busy that I didn't really notice, but when I suddenly looked in the mirror, it was clearly obvious that the swelling had gone down a lot compared to when it was one or two months post-op, and that was fascinating. As time goes by, I keep feeling more and more that I made the right choice. Having the functional nose surgery too made breathing easier, so my quality of life improved as well.
Before surgery, my nostrils were spread out so much that I was always really stressed about my nose, so if I had known it could be fixed with a surgery that could be called relatively simple, I keep thinking I should have gotten it done sooner.. lol As someone who has gone through it, I would recommend a moderate amount of plastic surgery that solves a complex without going overboard.
