About how much is the absorption rate of autologous costal cartilage? It has been about a year since I had surgery using autologous costal cartilage as a whole for both the nasal bridge and nasal tip. The nasal tip is being maintained well because the columellar strut was placed properly, but the nasal bridge is absorbing while becoming uneven and crooked I am asking because I am curious whether reconstruction of only the nasal bridge with autologous costal cartilage is possible.
