I had early removal on day 16 after nose surgery, and now it’s day 8 since removal. It feels like just yesterday that I was struggling and posting that my nose surgery was ruined. Yesterday, I went and had the splint taken off. I had everything removed for free at the hospital where I had the surgery, and it was my first nose surgery. I heard they put in 5 mm silicone and ear cartilage at the nasal tip, and because my skin was thin and they were worried it might show through, they layered autologous dermis on top. After the surgery, the line itself didn’t suit me at all, and even though I went into surgery emphasizing naturalness, it was too much.
