Even if autologous costal cartilage was used for the nasal tip, the inflammation spreads and it cannot heal. 2 Even if it is inflammation, it is okay to remove only the silicone and leave the nasal tip that used autologous costal cartilage, or while removing the silicone, the nasal tip can be revised together with autologous tissue.
