Question for those whose columella protruded because of a columellar strut

I have ear cartilage in my columellar strut. They say that while inserting the strut, the doctor tied the alar cartilage downward, and because of that my nose became longer and my columella protruded. I want to remove the strut, but my original nose had the alar cartilage attached to the septal cartilage, and even my natural nose did not make a pig nose easily. People who had removal seem to consider making a pig nose important, but from the start I had vertical “11-shaped” nostrils and a firm nasal tip, so to make a pig nose I had to apply strong force and push it up.
