Revision Surgery Today

Today, finally, following my nose revision surgery (ㅇㅇㅎ) last month, I had double eyelid revision surgery at another hospital. Since I had also gotten help from someone in a community for my nose and had a fairly successful revision surgery... I wanted to seek help for my eyes from a community too.... But there doesn't seem to be that much information on revision surgery.... So I chose one of three places said to be good on a revision-surgery specialty site, and finally went through with the surgery... full incision plus muscle surgery... I had uneven eyes with high, heavy-looking, drowsy double eyelids. The scarring was really severe too. So my criteria for choosing a hospital were that the height would definitely be lowered, that the line would look natural, and that my pupils would be clearly visible. And... today, the day of surgery, my operated eyes seem better than my old eyes. For an incision, they really don't swell much... Looking at photos, a lot of people who had surgery here also didn't swell much,,, so I asked the doctor, and they said using only the minimum necessary amount of anesthesia also affects swelling, and that how the suturing is done is important too.. People who had it done here said because the doctor sutures meticulously and closely, there is less scarring. Given my conditions, the line itself couldn't be changed from an out-fold to a completely in-fold, but it became much lower (about an in-out fold), looks natural, and opening my eyes has become extremely comfortable... Before, because of the high double eyelids, even opening my eyes was uncomfortable, and I also had slight mucosal eversion. I regret not doing it sooner.. Ah.. this doctor says their two biggest mottos are opening the eyes comfortably and naturalness to the point that others won't notice you had double eyelid surgery... (Of course, with revision surgery, it may be hard to reach the point where others cannot tell.) Also, I wanted my pupils to show a lot more as the line got lower, and although I still have to wait and see, I feel like my direction and the surgical result matched to some extent, so I'm satisfied. But they said that on the day of surgery I should sleep only 2 hours, on the second day 3 hours, and on the third day 4 hours, increasing sleep time like this so adhesions won't form and the line will settle well. This hospital says absolutely not to sleep however I want, and it really feels like sleep torture.... I don't know if it's just this doctor's style being too meticulous, but sleep really feels bleak from here on. When I asked what I should do while I'm not sleeping, they said since the muscle-based eye-opening was improved, I should look in the mirror and practice opening my eyes with the eyes themselves, not with my eyebrows, whenever I have time... I think I'll end up practicing thousands of times.... Sob sob sob...
