My eyes were in the same condition as in the photo... so I ended up having ptosis surgery. Well... I mean... I just did it without sleep anesthesia or anything. They said if they anesthetized me like that, they might not be able to measure how much I could open my eyes or something like that, so anyway, I just did it. After lying down and getting local anesthesia, well, ever since I was young I’ve been good at tolerating shots and stuff, so I thought this much was nothing and endured it pretty lightly. Anyway, once the anesthesia was all done, the actual surgery started~!! An electric shock feeling from somewhere and the smell of burning flesh.. whoa~!! It wasn’t exactly extremely painful, but wow, it felt really nasty and uncomfortable. Anyway... after this and that work was finished, they started separating the muscle. The right eye, well, separated smoothly. I could see the forceps over my closed eye (not perfectly, more like seeing through an opaque membrane).. I just thought, what an interesting experience, and was lying there calmly. But the problem was this damn left eye. They opened up the left eye in the same way and started separating the muscle, but this damn left-eye muscle refused to separate and kept resisting.... The doctor kept saying it wouldn’t separate and tried once, twice, three times, four times, five times, over and over. Since I wasn’t under sleep anesthesia, the pain increased with each attempt, and in the end I let out a short scream, “Aaagh~!!” Well, anyway, after all the twists and turns... once the muscle was finally separated, they moved on to matching the eye height.. The process is simple. They tell you to get up and open your eyes, then lie down again and they work on it, then get up again and open your eyes, then lie down again and they work on it, repeating that. After matching the eye height.... they sutured it.. and the surgery was over... Anyway, now it has been a week, and honestly my eyes look awful. Kkkk, the eye heights are different like stairs, kkkk.... the colors are different too, and if I force my eyes open wide, they do open big, but when I look in the mirror, they’re scary enough to startle even me.. kkkk.. That aside, I want to upload post-op photos too.. but I lost my camera..
