My nasal tip droops and the hump wasn’t shaved down enough, so I was thinking of just living with it, but now I’m going around for consultations.. I went to my first consultation, and they recommended autologous costal cartilage. Honestly, I only went because I wasn’t happy with my nose shape, so I went in without any information and just listened to what the director explained. They said I probably wouldn’t need osteotomy for the hump, so that was a relief.. They said using autologous costal cartilage would be better for the line and would also support the nasal tip well. But when I got home and searched it up, it somehow felt like a bigger surgery than regular nose surgery(?).. I had gone for a consultation at Highend, and after reading reviews, it seems like a lot of people do it too.. Should I set up my consultations again focusing on autologous costal cartilage? For people like me, what materials and surgical methods did you use?

nonojin1 I think this also depends somewhat on personal preference. Some people think autologous costal cartilage is better, while others think donated costal cartilage is better.. I didn’t want to worry about drooping, and after hearing that donated costal cartilage is someone else’s, I felt resistant to it, so when I got my nose done at Louvre, I did use autologous costal cartilage The best thing is to use the material that suits you
