I have symptoms of chronic inflammation, so I feel like I’m going to lose my mind and I’m going around to clinics. I had a consultation yesterday, and when we consulted while looking at Photoshopped images with the silicone height reduced, the doctor actually said that although a non-implant nose that only fills the height difference has limits in terms of height, a nose with the nasal bridge and dorsum raised just very slightly compared with my original nose would look better proportionally on my face than my current nose. That’s when I really started despairing, wondering what I was thinking putting silicone in.. For now, the cost was on the cheaper side because inflammation or contracture hasn’t broken out, and they said it would drop a lot more if I allow them to use my photos, so the first clinic was more positive than I expected. Right now, I feel like I want to get surgery as soon as I hit the six-month mark. If I do that, all these worries I’m having now will disappear too…!!!? If there’s anyone here who had revision surgery to a non-implant nose while removing an implant, could you share your experience? There was something I didn’t ask carefully enough: when they say they’ll remove the silicone, lower the nasal tip, and then fill the step-off, should I understand that as removing some of the cartilage that was stacked in layers at the nasal tip?
