I had silicone on the nasal bridge, and ear cartilage for the nasal tip. They made an incision in my ear and harvested cartilage, and it has been 3 weeks since the surgery. The problem is that I have no sensation in my ear. It feels just like after getting an anesthetic injection. It is not my whole ear, just the very top part; even if I pinch it, it does not hurt, and there is no sensation. Is this normally like this? The hospital never told me about any postoperative aftereffects involving the ear, and they never even brought it up. If I end up living with this loss of sensation, wouldn't this be medical malpractice... I am worried. Everyone, I want to know whether sensation returns over time after rhinoplasty. Please share your experiences
