For those who had nose surgery and are curious about swelling

As I read review posts, it seems like the topic people talk about the most, especially those who are around one month post-op or not yet one month post-op, is swelling. I had nose surgery 2 and a half years ago. Maybe I had a body type suited to surgery, because after surgery I didn’t swell severely or bruise much. I was a case where I swelled moderately and it went down quickly. But usually when the dressing is removed, the nose can look a bit more swollen. And from then on, the real battle with swelling begins. For nose surgery, swelling usually takes at least 6 months to fully go down. There can be individual differences, but even though I was the type whose swelling went down extremely fast, it seems like it took more than 6 months for the glabella, nasal bridge, and nasal alae to all settle. After 1 year, it becomes natural. Before that, it just looks a bit plump?? And my nose is a noticeably high, defined nose. I’m dying to have revision surgery into a high, defined nose that doesn’t look obvious. People whose surgery doesn’t look obvious say that’s stressful, but even if it turns out pretty, if it looks obvious, that is also just as stressful. I don’t really mind because I openly say I had it done anyway, though. Still, I guess I can’t help being bothered by it. There are probably people who know much more than I do, and I wonder if I’m speaking out unnecessarily, but after seeing so many people write in their reviews that it’s almost 2 weeks and swelling, 3 weeks and swelling, like that, I thought it would be better not to worry because it’s still the period when swelling is at its peak, so I’m writing a few words. For reducing swelling quickly, warm/cold compresses and pumpkin juice are the best. And don’t stay indoors too much; it’s good to walk a little bit for exercise!
