On the 24th, I had osteotomy + columellar extension. After the osteotomy, I wore a splint that fixes the nose for 7 days, and had it removed yesterday. I asked whether I shouldn’t be pressing the nose or doing something, and they said it was okay because I had worn it for 2 extra days at the end.. (I wore it for a total of 7 days after surgery) So I just thought, okay.. and left, but thinking about it later, regardless of whether it has an effect or not, it seems like it would be better to wear it for about 2–3 more weeks while sleeping.. I’m curious what everyone does after osteotomy. Is there anyone like me who didn’t wear it and had no major issue?
