It has already been 7 weeks since jaw and cheekbone surgery. The swelling went down really slowly, so I struggled a lot emotionally, but now a lot has gone down.. As expected, time is medicine... But I still look like a woman with candy in her mouth... 1. Anyway, recently I sometimes hear a “crack” sound from my left cheekbone.. (when chewing, or when washing my face and applying lotion to that area..) I am worried whether it is okay. Is there anyone like me who has sound coming from the cheekbone? 2. My cheekbones still feel stiff.. Sometimes they throb too... I did have fixation done... Anyway, how long does this kind of pain last? I would appreciate advice from people with experience. One month after surgery I went to the hospital for a follow-up, and I thought they would take a CT like before surgery and compare it, but damn it~ they said they would not.. They just took face photos with a DSLR... I mean, they did not compare before and after surgery, so I already felt uncomfortable about it.... I am really wondering if I should go somewhere and get an X-ray or CT scan....
