2 months after cheekbone surgery★ Photo review^^

I posted this somewhere else before, but I’m posting it once here in this community too~~ After reading my review, I hope I can give courage to people who are thinking about cheekbone surgery^^ The before-surgery photo is from last fall. The after photo is now. I had surgery at the end of February, so it’s almost been 2 months now. My anterior cheekbones protruded quite a lot, and my side cheekbones protruded a bit too. I thought cheekbone surgery was really scary and a major surgery, but during the consultation, the director explained the surgical process and the side effects to me. They said cheekbone surgery is safer than I had thought, and that bruising, swelling, and cheek sagging almost never occur.. And the director said it seemed like I definitely needed cheekbone surgery, and that if I did square jaw surgery together, the facial contouring effect would be much greater, but doing two surgeries at once felt too scary. So I said I would only do cheekbone surgery. Then on the day of surgery, I got on the operating table, and after a little while the anesthesia started. When I woke up, I was in the recovery room. The surgery was over. As soon as I met the director, I asked, “Did my surgery go well?” They said the surgery went well and that my facial swelling wasn’t too severe. Then I looked in the mirror and was startled. This is not very swollen? lol Still, when I touched the cheekbone area, it really had gone in a lot. I had porridge, did cold/warm compresses, spent one night at the hospital, and was discharged the next day. Then a week later, I went to have the stitches removed. The director looked at my face, touched it, and told me to come again in a week. They said that if you press the cheekbones before the bones have attached yet, they go in. I guess this is what they call molding. On the day it became 2 weeks, I went to the hospital. The director touched and pressed the cheekbone area. Aah, it was really scary. But it didn’t hurt much. It was bearable. But up until then, maybe because of the swelling, it felt like my cheekbones hadn’t gone in much. Did the surgery not go well? I even got needlessly anxious. Anyway, after 2 weeks passed, I was able to go about daily life well. The swelling went down faster than I expected. It was to the point where people wouldn’t know even if I lied and said I had just gained weight or that my cheeks were swollen because I had my wisdom teeth removed. And at the 1-month mark, I did molding one more time.. When it had been 1 month and 2 weeks, I visited the hospital again. After a month and a half passed, the swelling was almost gone and the cheekbones had really gone in a lot. At 2 weeks, I guess I really felt that way because of the swelling. ^^;; Now it’s almost been two months. The surgery went so well, so I’m satisfied. ^^ I do think now that maybe I should have done my jaw too when the director said that back then.. but I have no regrets~ ^^ For those who were worried about their cheekbones like me..
