Hello. I had a very slight hump shaved down through an open approach, just enough that it wouldn’t be noticeable. I had 2.8 mm silicone inserted, cartilage suturing, and ear cartilage placed. At 3 weeks and 1 day after surgery, I just had only the silicone removed through the right nostril by a closed approach.^^ The doctor said that since the removal was not due to inflammation, contracture or other bad symptoms and so on would not occur, and only the nasal bridge would become lower from my original nose shape. Right now it’s taped, so I can’t really tell, but it does seem like the nasal bridge has gotten lower.
