On October 9, the doctor said I only needed silicone for the nasal bridge, so I had surgery. Six days later, after the stitches were removed and the thing on my nose was taken off, everyone said it was crooked diagonally, so I went to the hospital the next day. The doctor pressed down on it firmly several times. A few days after that, it looked very crooked even to me, so I went back to the hospital. The nurse said it wasn’t crooked, and the doctor said, “It’s because your face is asymmetrical. If you don’t like it, I’ll give you a refund, so take it out.” He raised his voice, so I couldn’t say anything and came back. Every single day I felt depressed and upset. In the end, a week later I went back to that hospital with a younger acquaintance, and when they asked, “If her face is asymmetrical, shouldn’t you have told her during the consultation?” the doctor said he wasn’t God, so he couldn’t tell just by looking at the face. He told me either to remove it and get a refund or have revision surgery. I was scared to have revision surgery, and since I had more of a nasal bridge than before and looked better, I said I wouldn’t do anything. Then the doctor said he would inject collagen on the side that wasn’t crooked, and if I liked it, I could consider revision surgery, so I cried while getting the collagen injection. After getting collagen, it did look a little straighter, and aside from the crookedness, the main problem was that the silicone in the glabella area still had not stabilized even after 3 weeks, so I decided on revision surgery and had it on 11/2. During the consultation before revision surgery, the doctor said my face was asymmetrical, so he would insert the silicone in the opposite direction like this (/), and told me to accept the possibility that it might become crooked the other way. The crookedness was a problem, but there was also the issue of silicone fixation, so I just had the revision surgery. When the thing on my nose is removed, I’m so worried it will now be crooked to the opposite side. Can the nasal bridge become diagonally crooked because of facial asymmetry that neither the doctor nor the people around me noticed? Having gone through revision surgery too, it hurts so much and is uncomfortable and difficult. Even during the revision consultation, he told me to be prepared for it to become crooked to the opposite side. Should I just be prepared and accept it if that happens?
