First, I went to consultations at two places. Both said my anterior cheeks are hollow, so fat grafting would be good. 1: Under-eye fat repositioning + anterior cheek fat grafting, definitely together 2: Do under-eye fat repositioning first, and if needed, do anterior cheek fat grafting later But doctor #2 said most people are satisfied with just under-eye fat repositioning, and only about 10% of patients add anterior cheek fat grafting afterward. Since the two consultations gave different recommendations, I’m torn. If I do fat grafting together, I’m worried the engraftment rate might be low because I don’t really have facial fat to begin with.. Would it be better to do only under-eye fat repositioning first? I’m curious whether people without anterior cheek volume did fat grafting together too

오징어환전소 Definitely #2.. They don’t tell you that if you do the anterior cheeks, nasolabial folds can form from that much added weight, do they?
vvne [@냐쵸] Thank you!! Looking it up, fat grafting has a lot of side effects too I’ll do under-eye fat repositioning first for now
vvne [@오징어환전소] Wow, I just read this comment and got chills.. Why didn’t I think that far? lol Thank you
illiiiiiil… [@오징어환전소] I was looking up facial fat grafting and saw this comment. If you do fat grafting, does the face sag? If it’s not done excessively, and it’s really just grafted in a thin layer like one or two sheets of paper, would that be okay?
오징어환전소 [@illiiiiiilllli] As non-specialists, we tend to think it might be fine if they just spread it evenly like one or two sheets of paper. But do you think it will spread beautifully and evenly across the whole face in the volume of one sheet of paper? But in reality, it’s injected into another layer inside the face, not even the original membrane where fat was, so after 3-5 years, when it starts to be absorbed, it comes out unevenly. They say if you actually remove it, the color is different too. The injected fat is more yellow. And the side where you use the muscles more will lose more, while the side where you don’t will have a bit more left, right? It absolutely does not stay evenly and beautifully distributed the way you imagine. And the biggest contradiction with fat grafting is this: people who gain weight easily can get a lot of facial fat even with just a little fat grafting if they gain just a bit of weight, while the people who actually need fat grafting are those who lose weight easily, but because their constitution loses fat easily, the grafted fat doesn’t take well. Only conscientious doctors told me things like this.. I found out because I obsessively dug through YouTube and consultations too
