I took off the taping and looked in the mirror, and it was honestly shocking... From the front, there is basically nothing. It is at the level where only the nostrils are there. I look like a stupid pig. From the side, aside from the lowered bridge and a little swelling at the nasal tip, it looks okay. There is a slight bruise on the nasal dorsum and some blood bruising at the nasal tip. Since I had it removed by a closed approach, my nostrils are uneven. The nurse said most of the swelling is gone, but I cannot believe it lol... From the front, it looks like I have no nose at all. Once the swelling goes down, I can go back to how my front view used to look, right? My nasal dorsum was wide, so I had bilateral osteotomies to narrow it, and I thought my front view would become slimmer than before surgery... It is day 5 now. How long did the front-view swelling last for you?? Will my nostrils go back to how they were originally? Right now they look vertically upright like when I had the surgery.
