It’s been such a long time since I came in here. Coming in here itself probably means one of two things: either I really like my face right now, or I really don’t, right? Haha I guess I’m in the latter group.. I had surgery around January 2011 and had it removed around February 2013. I had the surgery in Seomyeon, Busan, and had the removal done at the same hospital where I had the surgery. I probably just wasn’t suited to silicone. For one thing, my skin was on the fair and thin side, and it was a bit sensitive. I thought silicone was safe, haha. I don’t know why I thought that, but when I made up my mind to get plastic surgery, I think I was so eager to become pretty quickly that I didn’t even think about those side effects. But I don’t regret getting plastic surgery. After I did it, I gained a lot of confidence, and for the first time in my life I heard people say I was really pretty, haha, so I was happy. It was also the first time someone asked for my number. After the surgery, that summer was the first time my glabella swelled. It swelled quite badly, to the point that I thought it was early post-op swelling. I don’t know the reason, but the director looked at it and said thankfully it was only filled with blood, and that if pus had filled as well it would be inflammation, but this was not inflammation. He inserted a thin needle and drained the blood. Then the swelling went down and it returned to normal. And I lived fine.. hahaha. But how should I put it.. I gradually felt like the silicone was showing through. When winter 2012 came, my anxiety reached its peak. I absolutely couldn’t go out bare-faced, I had to wear makeup to go out, and I felt reassured only if I wore a hat.. haha. I don’t know how I lived back then.. To my eyes, the silicone line starting from the glabella looked so clearly visible.. The skin over the nasal bridge also looked bluish.. It was really stressful. And when I was somewhere cold, how should I put it? It felt like my nose was contracting? I had that kind of feeling too. The director and nurse said it was okay and that I was just sensitive.. But once I started feeling anxious.. it was hard to change my mind. I really agonized so, so much over whether to remove it or not. There were times I made an appointment and then canceled it that same day. In the end, I had it removed. It was done closed, and the cost was free. Maybe the director still had a conscience.. I was going in and out of the hospital so often that he also knew me well. About two weeks after the removal, he injected a little filler for me. As expected, once I got filler, even after removal I looked somewhat human. Still, hahaha, maybe he used a cheap one.. hahaha, it went down quickly. These days I’m really stressed~ Mine was done so naturally that nobody knew I had plastic surgery, and funnily enough, after removing it and getting filler, they still didn’t know hahaha. I don’t know if that’s good or bad. Now that it’s been almost a year since the filler, I can really feel my nose getting lower and lower.. It’s annoying. I met my boyfriend after the removal, and to me it feels like it’s lower than it was in the early days after I started dating him.. I guess they shaved my nasal bridge when I had the surgery..ㅡㅡ Ah, I’m so mad hahahaha. I left the ear cartilage in and removed only the silicone.. Is there anyone like me who removed only the silicone and hasn’t done anything else afterward? That feeling like the nasal bridge and nasal tip look slightly separated? Is there anyone who feels that.. I wonder if I’m the only one who feels it.. My family doesn’t say anything and people around me don’t say anything either.. but it’s my own private stress.. I’m thinking maybe I should at least get filler hahaha. I could live as I am without getting anything, actually. There’s nothing uncomfortable, I breathe well, haha, and my nose functions properly. It’s just disappointing when I take photos or when photos are taken of me.. hahaha. I wonder if you can relate. Ha~ I can’t talk about this with just anyone hahahaha, so I came in to vent because I felt frustrated. If you read this long post, thank you. If you have any questions, please leave a comment! I’ll answer within what I know! And hahaha, if you know a place in Busan that’s good at affordable, long-lasting filler, let’s share info~~
