First of all, my front teeth used to protrude a lot and I had severe malocclusion. So I got orthodontic treatment to improve my protruding mouth and make my teeth evenly aligned. To start with the conclusion, my alignment is really even now, and once the center of my front teeth is adjusted just a little more, I'll be done hahaha. It was originally supposed to end this summer, but it's a bit disappointing that it got delayed because the center of my front teeth kept not lining up.. Still, I'm so happy because I think once I get my braces off, I'll be able to smile without covering my mouth.. haha. My teeth are big and my malocclusion was severe, so I had two upper molars extracted and two screws placed in the upper area too. I don't remember the exact cost, but I remember it being somewhere between 5 and 6 million won.! The best part was that the director did everything really painlessly, so even while getting treatment I felt that he was genuinely skilled.. The anesthesia honestly didn't hurt at all, and when I had the extractions, I felt nothing, so I didn't even know the teeth had been removed.. Also, people say things like after orthodontic treatment your face can become peanut-shaped. But for me, my lower face actually got shorter and my jawline became slimmer, so I heard a lot from friends that my face shape looked like Karina's!! Everyone who's thinking about orthodontic treatment, find a good clinic and try it. I've honestly never regretted getting orthodontic treatment. Especially if you have a long face, you might be able to get the effect of a shorter lower face like I did!
